Support your local community at the STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE!
Your local post office will be accepting donations as well as collecting donations at your local mailbox.
It’s easy! Just leave a bag of nonperishable food next to your mailbox on May 14th and your USPS letter carrier will handle the rest!
Nonperishable foods include:
✓ Canned Fruits and Vegetables
✓ Canned Fish and Chicken
✓ Canned Soups/Stews
✓ Canned Beans and Peas
✓ Dried Beans and Peas
✓ Dried Fruits and Vegetables
✓ Dried Pasta
✓ Dried Grains (Oats, Barley, Quinoa, Popcorn Kernels (not microwave))
✓ Whole-Grain Cereals
✓ Peanut and other Nut Butters
✓ Rice
✓ Nuts and Seeds
✓ Shelf Stable Milk and Milk Substitutes
✓ Broths and Stock (Chicken, Beef and Vegetable)
✓ Honey
Donation Tips:
✓ Canned goods with pop-top lids are better than canned goods that require a can opener.
✓ Avoid foods packaged in glass.
✓ Please do not donate foods that are past the expiration date.
There is a tremendous food shortage, and this food is desperately needed. Together, we can help end local hunger.
