The IN-CROWD University (ICU) offers free INformation, INspiration, and INvolvement opportunities to help motivated underserved people to obtain the tools in order to improve their situation in life.

THE IN-CROWD organizes a network of partnership instructors to produce In-Crowd University (ICU) courses as well as endeavors to meet all qualifying requests for courses.

Courses include: English as a Second Language for Spanish, English as a Second Language for Creole, Remedial Math, Job Preparation that may include availability, Community Gardening, Healthy Eating, etc. Almost all classes are held on the Zoom platform with some opportunities for in-person learning.

We are currently seeking volunteer Student Teachers and Mentors as well as additional course curriculum ideas including free courses which we can promote.

For Spanish speakers who who want to improve conversational English.

Zoom, 1 hour/week

For Creole speakers who who want to improve conversational English.

Remedial Math 

For Junior High and High School Students who need help with Math fundamentals.

Zoom, 1 hour/week for 5 weeks

STEM Star Math Tutorial / Mentor Program

One on one sessions for High School Students serious about careers in STEM Subjects.

Make Your Garden Grow

The Master Gardener program helps home and community gardeners get the most from their gardens and seeds.

Zoom, 1 hour/week

Managing Home Financing

Create and manage your budget, checkbook, and other home finance issues.

Zoom, 1 hour/week

Community Leadership

Discussion on all aspects of successful Community Leadership including organizing, involving, and activating your community.

Learn various Food Service and restaurant skills with opportunities for employment.
