Steve West

Steve West, Founder of THE IN-CROWD and Friends of MAMA, has been involved in social justice causes since his youth. Mr. West integrated his career between entrepreneurial social justice volunteering and business. A leader in the Fair Housing Movement of the 1960’s, he took on world hunger in the 1980s. At the same time he focused on third world development and has been involved with that since 1980. West’s unique experiences in social justice issues gives him a unique perspective for working in under-served communities.

Angela Williams

Angela Williams founded Mothers Against Murderers Association (MAMA) in 2003 when her nephew, Torrey, was senselessly murdered. Angela has helped hundreds of mothers and their families to recover from the unspeakable tragedy of losing a child to gun violence. Angela is one of the most loved and respected people in Palm Beach County. Her work includes healing and helping bereaved mothers and family so that they can move forward with their lives. Her work on prevention promises to fulfill her dream of eliminating the need for MAMA’s existence.

Professor Dr. Robert Watson

Professor Dr. Robert Watson

Professor Dr. Robert Watson is a true renaissance man. He is a Professor and Director of American Studies at Lynn University. Watson is a natural leader, respected scholar, all star athlete, active musician, author of 40 published books, social justice activist, speaker, media analyst, commentator and legendary speaker. He has won numerous awards of all kinds. One noteworthy accomplishment was his instrumental role in bringing the Third Presidential Debate of 2012 to Lynn University. Watson and Steve West have been friends and have worked together on projects since they met in 2006. Together they founded The Rational Majority and THE IN-CROWD.

Bishop Dr. Phillip Dukes

Bishop Dr. Phillip Dukes is a man who has lived three distinct lives. He was brought up in an upright, churchgoing family. He veered far from his upbringing in his teens and twenties becoming a major drug dealer and addict. In his early thirties he returned to his disciplined upbringing. Despite his body being ravaged by his desolate lifestyle, Dukes achieved his doctorate and became a Bishop in his church. Today Dr. Dukes is the founder of Operation Restore, Inc., an activist against gun violence, as well as youth mentor in order to help them to avoid making the same mistakes that he did.
