3. MAKE THE PLEDGE:
We are non-partisan. We do not rate or recommend any candidate or party. Any candidate or office holder that sincerely embraces the equalization of opportunity and justice for all our residents is invited to let your commitment be known to the electorate. Understand that your pledge is a serious expression of your commitment to the principles and actions expressed herein. No matter what you political affiliation, you are promising that you are will use your power for the benefit of your constituents. The IN-CROWD Pledge continues our tradition of non-partisanship. It is up to you, the candidate to let the voters know your positions. With our many partners, we will carry the message out to the voters. By making the Pledge you are literally endorsing yourself by letting voters know your position on issues that are of interest to them. Your pledge is a powerful statement and a meaningful endorsement.
GETTING THE WORD OUT
The combined IN-CROWD Partnership has a large electronic media reach. We will get the word out widely and along with traditional media we will blanket the electorate with information about the issues along with your position.
We will aggressively publicize which candidates Make the Pledge and which do not respond. This will literally be a self-selection process wherein allies of justice and equality will be able to make themselves known to the voting public as opposed to those who have other agendas. Those who do not believe in these principles will make their intentions known by not responding. Every incumbent and candidate for every office in PBC will receive an electronic invitation to make the pledge. We will publish the names of the pledging and unresponsive invitees. This will give the electorate a first hand basis to make up their own minds to support candidates who are on their side, whatever that side is.
