Man of Purpose, Inc. dba People of Purpose, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation established in 2020 to formulate and administer services to recently returning citizens in Palm Beach, Hendry and Okeechobee Counties in Florida. People of Purpose is dedicated to helping returning citizens build lives of self-worth and sustainability and to close the door on recidivism. We recognize the inherent worth of all people irrespective of their past.

People of Purpose, Inc. provides reentry help, direct services and support post incarceration to returning citizens, consult and/or provide direct services in the areas of employment, finding suitable housing (transitional and permanent), payment of fines, fees, restitution and related expenses; register eligible returning citizens to vote; provide budgeting & financial planning training; and provide support for successful reentry, self-sufficiency and a greatly needed second chance to restart their lives.

People of Purpose, Inc. is guided by an eleven member Board of Directors chaired by Christine Handy, renowned author, motivational speaker and social activist. William Freeman, Founder and Executive Director, is a returning citizen, skilled in leadership, support and idea creation. The Board of Directors provide public and private input and expertise in public and private sector management, education, social justice, housing support, and others areas of relevance to returning citizens.

As a new not-for-profit organization we are focused on working with local area agencies to address critical need for our clients. Support is not always available in our target counties. The primary goal of People of Purpose, Inc. is to fill the gap between need and available services for successful reentry of our clients in Palm Beach, Hendry and Okeechobee with special emphasis on western Palm Beach County.
