invites you to VOLUNTEER for a FOOD DRIVE!
Come on out to Volunteer for the FRIENDS FEEDING FRIENDS with WIRK Radio 103.1 FOOD DRIVE!
Non-perishable food will be collected over 3 days and Volunteers are needed on all 3 days.
DATES: Friday, November 17th, 2023
Saturday, November 18th, 2023
Sunday, November 19th, 2023
SHIFT TIMES: There will be 3 shifts each day. You may sign up for one or more shifts on one or more days. (see sign up sheet). There are 4 Volunteers needed for each shift.
Shift 1: 7:00 am – 11:00 am
Shift 2: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Shift 3: 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm
PLACE: SPROUTS FARMER’S MARKET
1901-B N Military TrailWe are seeking Volunteers for this much needed Food Drive event to help load and/or sort donated food.
- ✓ You must be 16 years of age or older.
- ✓ You must wear closed toe shoes.
- ✓ Bottled water will be provided as desired.
- ✓ Basic Meals (McDonald’s or Pizza) will be provided for those volunteers who work overlapping shifts or need a food break for any reason.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE!
Volunteers are needed to help for a minimum of one 4 hour shift during this 3 day event.
Volunteers can sign up for multiple shifts on multiple days as long as the length of the shift is 4 hours minimum to completion. For example: One shift beginning at 7:00am and ending at 11:00am. Another shift can begin at 11:00am and end at 3:00pm, etc. A volunteer can help on all 3 days, but must complete a 4 hour minimum shift for any shift they wish to receive Community Service credit.

OPTIONAL PARTICIPATION: It would be appreciated if volunteers wanted to bring a few nonperishable foods for the collection.
This is a non-perishable food collection event sponsored by Palm Beach Harvest. This event will ultimately help your underserved neighbors in Palm Beach County.
